The Project
E&J Gallo needed to drive product visibility and sales velocity at the point of purchase in a regulated beverage retail environment. Cooler aisles in liquor retail are competitive and visually cluttered. Standard shelf-edge and overhead signage competes with dozens of other brands for the same shopper attention.
Axis4 deployed transparent LCD cooler displays across 26 SAQ (Quebec liquor board) locations. The displays overlay brand content, promotional messaging, and product storytelling directly onto the cooler surface, while keeping the products fully visible behind the glass.
The commercial results were significant: 200-300% sales lift on featured products across the deployment. This is not incremental improvement; it is a category-level shift in purchase behavior driven by the proximity of the message to the moment of decision.
